The 3 Castles Path.
Ellisfield is also on the route of The 3 Castles Path, a footpath route from Windsor to Winchester, via Odiham, based upon the 13th century journeys of King John at the time of the Magna Carta. This inspired the idea for this sixty-mile route between Windsor and Winchester via the Castle he built. A straight line drawn on the map joins these three historic places with Odiham exactly halfway (Windsor, Odiham and Winchester castles). Many walkers on this route have stayed at our B&B.
